Tooth decay is one of the most common, long-lasting childhood diseases. A small cavity happens when a tooth is infected by bacteria in the mouth and grows quickly. It can start when the first tooth erupts at age 1, and dental disease can be very painful, causing cavities, sickness, and even death.

COVID-19 is making it hard for kids and their families to go to the dentist. That's why the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Oral Health Program, and LIBERTY Dental Plan have formed the Nevada Action Network. Our goal is to keep Nevada's children healthy by keeping their teeth cavity-free and navigating families to dental care.

We are offering a no-cost opportunity for every child enrolled in Nevada Medicaid through LIBERTY Dental Plan to schedule a virtual check-up with a dental professional. Children will also receive a home kit to stop tooth decay and make teeth strong. It is more important than ever to take care of our children's teeth during this time to avoid more severe problems.

Register today for this quick and important virtual check-up for your child.
